52 Weeks of Art Challenge

Last year I found this blog (jakemakesart). Jake attempted to do a art thing everyday for a year. Which among many things, is very ambitious and inspiring. I spent the year pondering wither or not I could do accomplish something of that magnitude and around December I came to the conclusion that I couldn’t. Between coaching both a high-school speech team and a college team, entering my last semester at Eastern, trying to run a webcomic, and tons of other commitments I am stretched pretty thin. But one thing I have noticed lately is that I’m lacking in creative ventures outside of school.
So my new years resolution this year was to do a micro version of Jakes project. Instead of doing a artwork everyday, I will doing one a week for the entire year. On Monday’s I’ll post the prompt. Wednesdays will be a mid week process post. And Saturday/Sunday will be the final work posted. Now understanding that I will eventually run out of prompts, I implore people to submit ideas to me.
So for my first week. I decided to redo the identity for the Etsy shop I run with my girlfriend (who is wonderfully supportive of this whole venture)
